Alisal Ranch had earned its reputation over generations, but its visual brand no longer reflected the caliber of the guest experience. As the ranch expanded its digital presence, the existing photography lacked the depth, consistency, and versatility needed to tell its story across multiple channels.

Working closely with the Alisal Ranch team, we developed a visual strategy rooted in the brand's defining qualities: authentic Western heritage, refined hospitality, and a deep connection to the California landscape. Rather than simply documenting the property, we crafted imagery that invited guests to experience the feeling of the ranch before they arrived.
Our approach highlighted the rolling hills of Santa Barbara Wine Country, centuries-old oak trees, winding waterways, abundant wildlife, and the quiet moments that make Alisal unique. Alongside the landscape, we captured the traditions, hospitality, accommodations, dining, and outdoor experiences that define a stay at the ranch.

The refreshed visual portfolio helped position Alisal Ranch with a renewed sense of identity across its digital marketing and brand storytelling efforts. By capturing the balance between refined hospitality and authentic ranch living, the imagery created a stronger emotional connection to the guest experience while highlighting the property’s deep connection to the California landscape. The resulting body of work provided the ranch with a cohesive and versatile library of assets that was used in their custom magazine ‘Lassos and Legends’ and continues to support online campaigns, editorial features, social media, and long-term brand growth.
